Frequently Asked Questions 


Q: What is included in the full service packages?

A: All the items listed in the package, including delivery, assembly, styling, collection, laundering and disinfecting of the manchester​ ​​and equipment

Q: What is the DIY option?

A: The DIY option includes all of the same equipment and decor as our usual packages the only difference is you collect it from us, set it up, style it as you please and then pack it down and return it back to us. Prices for our DIY packages are slightly less, contact us for a quote.

Q: Is a deposit required to be paid?

A: We require a deposit of 50% of your total bill to secure your date and hold the required equipment. The remaining balance is to be paid no less than 7 days prior to your event date. (See deposit section on our terms and conditions page.)

Q: What age group do you cater for?

A: For our Teepee Slumber Parties we cater from as young as 5 years right up to adults.
For our Picnic Parties there is no specific age requirements.​

Q: Wh​ere can your parties be set up​?

A: All ​of ​our teepee Slumber Parties are held indoors or in an enclosed area.
Picnic Parties can be setup on the beach, lawns, garden area’s or decks, they can even be tailored to indoor spaces. Anywhere really, just as long as the area is reasonably flat.​

Q: How big are the teepees and beds?

A: The teepees sleep one person and are 1m x 1m each, the mattresses are slim single size 185cm x 76cm x 22cm.

Q: How long is the hire period?

​A: The standard hire period for our teepee slumber parties ​is 1 night, longer hire times can be negotiated ​for an additional cost and ​subject to availability.

​Picnic Parties will be delivered/set up the day of the party (no earlier then 10:30am)  and will be collected the same evening (by 6:00pm) longer hire times can also be negotiated for an additional cost and subject to availability.

Q: What areas do you cover?

A: We cover South Taranaki and surrounding areas. If you are unsure if your area will be included feel free to send us a message and ask. Please note travel costs will apply if you are located further than 20km from Hawera

Q: Do the picnics include food?

A: Our picnic pricing does not include food however we are more than happy to organise food for you through our friends at Fig & Fern Grazing. Please contact us for pricing.
