Our Story

We are a small, family run, local party hire and styling business, based in Tauranga, New Zealand.
Combining our passion’s of all things pretty and creative + working with wood and of course PARTIES! – This fun little company we call Wild & Whimsy Events came to be.

Tauranga’s very first children’s party stylists, specializing in Teepee Slumber Parties and Garden Party Picnic’s. With a Hire Library that holds a range of beautiful & unique pieces that will create or compliment any event.

We also offer bespoke hire. If you are after a particular item for your event but can’t spot it in our Hire Library, send us a message. We will happily try our best to make it happen!

As parents with three children of our own, we understand that life is busy, especially family life! We know that the time involved with organizing and planning a party isn’t always available to everyone. So we’ve made it our mission to assist you in creating a beautiful and memorable celebration – One that will be remembered by your special ones for many years to come, because everyone deserves to be celebrated!

While we love a good slumber party, and creating insta worthy garden parties is definitely on our list of expertise, it doesn’t stop there. Our parties can be customized to suit all types of occasions. We’re always up for a challenge – any reason to get creative and throw a party is a good enough reason for us.
